Seasonal Maintenance 

                                     
                                                                              Spring is FINALLY here folks!
                                              Here’s a quick guide to help you through the Spring months:

1) Check on your water level periodically.
This step is an easy visual to ensure that your water level is at the same spot throughout the season.
2) After heavy or consistent rain, drain your ground water dry well or blow out your drainage channels if you are on a slope/retaining wall before lowering the pool or spa water level. This step MUST be done BEFORE the pool or spa water level is lowered. This will ensure that ground water is removed from the area surrounding the pool and will help prevent bulging and/or settling. Failing to do this step first will result in a voided warranty, especially for fiberglass pool owners. 
3) Clean larger debris from the pool or spa. This step is useful in order to prevent staining to your liner or gel coat. Large amounts of leaves or construction debris can leave behind stubborn stains. A skimming net or a leaf net is a great tool for this.
4) Provide a safety barrier.  It is recommended that a clearly marked fence be installed around the pool or spa. This will prevent potential accidents around the pool and provide a clear barrier. If your pool is under construction, a construction safety fence is strongly recommended.
